<p>New Zealand&nbsp;cricketer Tim Seifert, who plays for the Kolkata&nbsp;Knight Riders in the IPL, broke down during a video call with the media, while he recalled his difficult experience in India after testing positive for Covid-19 during the IPL.</p> <p>Seifert&nbsp;said that he feared bad things might happen to him after he missed the chartered flight back home from India. He added that the media reports of the intensity of the Covid-19 2nd wave and the stress on medical infrastructure in India hit him hard. But&nbsp;KKR head coach Brendon McCullum and Chennai Super Kings head coach Stephen Fleming&nbsp;made everything a lot easier.&nbsp;</p> <p>The 26-year-old was treated at a private Chennai hospital along with Chennai Super Kings batting coach Michael Hussey.</p>
