Synopsis

<p>After 4 losses in a row, KKR finally managed to get a win under their belt as the Knights beat Punjab Kings by 5 wickets on Monday night. Morgan didnt make any changes to his playing XI his bowlers didnt let him down. A collective effort restricted Punjab to mere 123/9. Kolkatas run chase was off to a horror start as they lost first 3 wickets for just 17 runs. Thats when captain Morgan and Rahul Tripathi got together and stitched a 66-run stand. Tripathi got out for 41 and Andre Russell too went back for 10. But Morgan dug deep and guided his side to victory with an unbeaten 47. With that, KKR ended their 4-match losing run but Punjab were handed their 4th loss in 6 outings.</p>
