The two most successful teams in IPL history perhaps played one of the best games of the season as Mumbai Indians stunned league leaders Chennai Super Kings by 4 wickets. Batting first, Chennai smashed 218/4 from 20 overs. Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali hit quickfire fifties but the centre stage was occupied by Ambati Rayudu who hit an unbeaten 72 off just 27 balls. In reply, skipper Rohit Sharma along with Quinton de Kock gave Mumbai Indians a stunning start. A middle-order collapse crippled Mumbai once again but Kieron Pollard powered through. After settling in, POllard lost more partners as the two Pandya brothers came and went quickly. But a blitzkrieg from the West Indian ensured Mumbai went past the finish line on the last ball with 4 wickets in hand. Pollard remained unbeaten on a stunning 87 off 34 balls which perhaps could be one of the best knocks in IPL history.
