An MBA student and a passionate follower of Shivaji Maharaja, Amar More organises the celebration of Shivaji Jayanti right in front of the college library and manhandles anyone who tries to stop the noise. When his college professor Samarth, a wise follower of Maharaja's ideals and an expert in history, gets to know this, he makes Amar understand what the real ideals of Maharaja were. A rowdy, pseudointellectual Amar slowly transforms into a wiser man, to a point where he begins to question and see through the politicians who wish to erect a statue of Maharaja in the town. The film explores how the ideals of the warrior king are interpreted by a student, a professor, and a politician, in their respective capacities.
