U-TURN

Age Ratings : All Ages Rama Gokhale, an easy-going widow from Pune, visits her friend Mrs. Solankulkar in Mumbai but when she sees that her door is locked, she knocks on Major Sudhir Vaidya's door who happens to be Mrs. Solankulkar's neighbour. Major Sudhir is curt but helpful towards Rama. As she waits for her friend, Rama gets to know Major Sudhir, a strict retired armyman searching for a companion. They continue to meet throughout Rama's stay in Mumbai and unwittingly help each other in times of major crisis. Sudhir becomes the reason Rama is able to contact her son in London post the news of a bomb blast in his area. Meanwhile, Rama's experience tremendously helps Sudhir's pregnant daughter in Bangalore. But their bond of friendship might not be acceptable to all members of society.
