Funtoosh

Ram (Dev Anand) loses his mind after the death of his mother and sister. Once released from mental asylum, he sets out to commit suicide and stumbles across Mr. Kirodi Lal (K.N. Singh) who asks him to postpone the plan by one week. Giving him a taste of luxury, he insures Ram and drives him to the railway track a week later, instigating him to commit suicide so he can claim the insurance money. But, by now, Ram has changed his mind. Bound by his promise, however, he reluctantly lies on the railway track but is miraculously saved. Ram asks for some more time to see the plan through and in the meantime, woos Mr. Kirodi Lal's daughter, hoping that if she falls in love with him it will save his life. Will his plan succeed? Will Mr. Kirodi Lal allow anyone to come between him and his fortune?
