Girlfriend is a story which revolves around two girls who, being lesbians, are in relationship with each other. The plot thus focuses on Tanya's (Ishaa Koppikar) obsessive relationship with Sapna (Amrita Arora). However, after a while, Sapna starts dating a young handsome guy named Rahul (Aashish Chaudhary). Possessive Tanya cannot handle this breach of trust and goes to great lengths to claim what was hers.
