However, there are other ways that might boost your immunity and offer protection from various infections, one such effective way is by consuming homemade kadhas.</p> <p>Kadhas are Ayurvedic drinks that are prepared with certain herbs and spices. These are easy to make and help strengthen your immune system. Check out these easy-peasy homemade kadhas recipes that you can whip up in no time.</p> <p><strong>1. Tulsi Kadha</strong></p> <p><strong>What you need</strong></p> <p>Water<br />Tulsi leaves<br />Ginger<br />Raisins<br />Black pepper powder<br />Cinnamon powder <br />Lemon juice</p> <p>Take a utensil and pour two glasses of water into it. Add tulsi leaves, black pepper powder, cinnamon powder, ginger and raisins. Stir the mixture and boil it for around 15 minutes. Now, strain the mixture and add a dash of lemon juice to it as it is a good source of vitamin C. One can consume this drink early in the morning or before going to bed.</p> <p><strong>2. Dalchini Kadha</strong></p> <p><strong>What you need</strong></p> <p>Cinnamon powder<br />Water<br />Ajwain<br />Elaichi<br />Honey</p> <p>To make this kadha, you need to take a vessel and pour a large cup of water into it, then add a teaspoon of ajwain, one cardamom pod (black) and one bark of cinnamon. Let it steep for 5 minutes and strain it before serving. If you want to sweeten it further you can add a teaspoon of honey. For best results, drink it once or twice a day. </p> <p><strong>3. Turmeric Kadha</strong></p> <p><strong>What you need</strong></p> <p>Water<br />Turmeric<br />Tulsi leaves<br />Ginger<br />Peppercorns<br />Clove<br />Cinnamon stick<br />Munakka</p> <p>In a pan, pour around two cups of water and boil all the spices nicely including turmeric, tulsi leaves, ginger, peppercorn, clove, cinnamon stick and munakka. If you are putting in 3 litres of water, let it boil down to 2 litres. Strain the mixture and have it early in the morning when the kadha is warm.</p> <p>These immunity-boosting Kadhas are really soothing for the throat and may offer relief from various health issues like cold, cough or fever as well.</p>
