Mumbais Nirbhaya: NCW team meets rape victims kin, visits crime spot

<p>A team of the National Commission for Women (NCW) on Sunday met the family members of a woman who died after being raped and brutally tortured in the Sakinaka area of Mumbai.</p> <p>A 30-year-old woman was&nbsp;raped and assaulted&nbsp;with an iron rod in Sakinaka on Friday. She died while undergoing treatment at a hospital early on Saturday.&nbsp;</p> <p>According to a police official, four-five members of the womens commission first went to the victims house and later went to the spot where the crime took place inside a parked tempo. The panel members went to the Sakinaka police station as well to seek details of the case.
