Synopsis

RCB is back to winning ways as they avoided a scare to beat Delhi Capitals by 1 run on Tuesday night. Interestingly, it was their 3rd win by just a run, joint most in IPL history. Pants decision to bowl first was a right call as Delhi bowlers kept RCB in check till the 15th over. AB de Villiers then did what he does best. He blasted an unbeaten 75 and powered RCB to 171/5. Delhis run chase was never on track but Pant held one end. Shimron Hetmyer tried his best with a fiery 53 but Pants 48-ball-58 proved a little slow. RCB avoided a scare and claimed their 5th win in 6 games. Delhi was handed their 2nd loss.
