Kaajal

Rani Maa (Durga Khote) brings up her clerk's children, Kaushal (Sailesh Kumar) and Madhavi (Meena Kumari), after his death, along with her son, Rajesh (Dharmendra). Years later, the children have grown up and are of marriageable age. Rajesh's wife begins to suspect him of having an affair with the innocent Madhavi and tries to drive her out of the house. Madhavi further suffers a setback when her brother is declared lost at sea. When Madhavi tries to commit suicide she is saved by Moti (Raaj Kumar). Rajesh and Rani Maa approve of Moti, and Madhavi is married to him. What she doesn't know is that Moti has an agenda of his own and her marriage to him might not be what it seems. How will Madhavi sail thorugh these struggles that don't seem to end?
