Revered police officers Karan (Sunny Deol) and Ali (Chunky Pandey) are investigating the murder of their colleague. Karan is thrust with the responsibility of protecting a nightclub singer named Anjali (Juhi Chawla), a daring eye-witness to the crime who is unafraid to testify against the criminal. With her life under threat, Karan keeps her hidden away in a remote locale and during their time there he falls hopelessly in love with her. But fate separates the couple and Karan vows to end his plight once and for all.
