  • ShemarooMe account:
    • Login to your ShemarooMe account on your mobile device.
    • Tap on the Profile Icon.
    • Tap on Account details > Tap on the View active plans > Tap on the unsubscribe > Tap on "Still you want to go ahead & unsubscribe.
    • Scroll down on the same page> Select the reason to unsubscribe> Tap on confirm.
  • Computer/Laptop:
    • Login to your ShemarooMe account on your mobile device
    • Click on the Profile Icon
    • Click on Account details > Tap on the View active plans > Click on the unsubscribe > Click on "Still you want to go ahead & unsubscribe”.
    • Scroll down on the same page > Select the reason to unsubscribe> Click confirm!
  • Google Play Store:
    • Open the Google Play Store app on your device.
    • Tap on the Profile Icon.
    • Tap on Payments and Subscriptions
    • Tap on Subscriptions.
    • Tap on the ShemarooMe subscription!
    • Tap on cancel subscription.
  • iTunes:
    • Open the Settings app.
    • Tap your name!
    • Tap Subscriptions
    • Tap the subscription!
    • Tap Cancel Subscription
    • ou might need to click the Cancel Subscription button. If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already cancelled
  • Amazon Firestick:
    • Open the Amazon app on your iOS or Android device and log into your account
    • Tap on the “You” icon at the bottom!
    • Tap on your account!
    • Scroll down and tap Membership & Subscription
    • Tap on Prime membership settings > Tap on Manage Membership – Update, Cancel & More- the last option in that menu!
    • Tap on End Membership

a. ShemarooMe is currently available on Android phones, iPhones, the Web, Amazon Firestick TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung TV, MI TV, LG Smart TV, Cloudwalker, and Roku TV. We shall keep you posted as and when we add more platforms/devices

a. The app is only available on Android 7 & above and iOS 9.0 & above - both phones & tablets.

b. The web app can be viewed on Chrome 62.0 & above, Edge 11.0 & above, Firefox 13.0 & above, Safari 10.0 & above, Roku TV 8.0 & above, UC Browser 11.0 & above.

c. ShemarooMe app is available on Android TV 6.0 & above, for Apple TV 10.0 & above

  • Login into ShemarooMe
  • Click on the Profile icon on the top right-hand side of the screen
  • Scroll down and click on the Redeem Code tab
  • Enter the code you received from FLIPKART and click on APPLY
  • The subscription plan linked to the code will be added to your account automatically.
  • If the code that you have does not apply to the previous question, take the following steps to use your code:
  • Login into ShemarooMe
  • Click on the “Subscribe” or “Upgrade” tab on the top right-hand side of the screen
  • Select the plan that you wish to purchase or upgrade to.
  • Enter the Promo code in the section “Have A Promo code” and click on Apply
  • Select the payment option that you wish to pay with.
  • Complete the payment process

a. Yes, you can log in via social sign-in on ShemarooMe TV apps on Android TV, Apple TV, Cloudwalker, Amazon Firestick & Mi TV.

b. To login to ShemarooMe on TV kindly go to www.shemaroome.com/tv and select your desired social sign-in option. After you have signed in, enter the 6-digit code seen on the TV

a. To reset the password set to your email id login, click on the “Forgot Password” link on the Sign In page

b. Enter your registered E-mail address and click on send

c. A Password Reset email will be sent to you at your registered E-mail address

d. Click on the “Set a new password” tab

e. Enter the new password, confirm the password, and click on the reset button

  • We share a small, curated set of content with Jio TV. You will not see all the content that you would normally see on the ShemarooMe App.
  • If you wish to view the entire gamut of content that we offer, you will have to buy a separate subscription to ShemarooMe and watch the movie on your Phone / PC / Laptop / Tab.

a. Yes, ShemarooMe is currently available in more than 200 countries and their dependencies across the world.

a. When a user is registered from 1 country, his/her account gets linked to that country.

b. If you relocate internationally, you will not be able to access content from your account in a different country.

c. In such a scenario, you will have to create a new ShemarooMe account and pay for a new subscription to access content in that country.

a. Yes, ShemarooMe supports Chromecast.

a. No, you will not be able to use mirror casting to view ShemarooMe content on your TV.

a. There are different plans available. Please login into your account and click on the Subscribe button at the top of the home page to view plans. If you are an existing user, you will see an “Upgrade” button that shows plans available to you.

a. New movies with delightful stories! On Bollywood Premiere, a user will get exclusive access to movies that will be digitally premiered on ShemarooMe.

a. ShemarooMe has a mix of free and premium titles. If you have not subscribed to a plan, you can only avail the free titles with ads. After you subscribe to a plan, you can view exclusive, unlimited, ad-free content for the purchased plan and get the best ShemarooMe experience.

a. Yes, you can subscribe to a plan on Smart TV. In India you can subscribe on Android TV and Mi TV via Paytm, to subscribe go to the ‘Profile’ icon and go to ‘View Plans and select a plan of your choice. You can subscribe to a plan on Roku TV (Only in US Region) and Apple TV as well.

a. Click on the profile icon and your current plan will be displayed just below the “Manage Profiles” section.

a. A user who is unregistered or has registered but is yet to subscribe to a plan will see Video & display ads while browsing or streaming free content.

b. To view exclusive, unlimited, ad-free content, please subscribe to a ShemarooMe Premium Plan (All Access) of any duration and get the best ShemarooMe experience.

a. You can view content simultaneously on four devices with one subscribed account.

a. No, you cannot delete any profiles.

  • Parental control is a feature that helps in preventing kids from accessing content not suitable for their viewing.
  • On ShemarooMe, you can enable parental control by setting a PIN. You can avail this feature only if you have purchased a plan.
  • After purchasing a plan, follow the instructions below to enable parental control:
  • Click on the Profile Icon and navigate the menu to select ‘Settings’
  • Under ‘Privacy Settings,’ you will find an option to enable ‘Parental Control’ by sliding the button.
  • You will be requested to set a 4-digit PIN. Enter a 4-digit number of your choice and press ‘Confirm’.
  • After enabling parental control, users will be prompted to enter the PIN when they try to exit the kids’ profile or when trying to login into their profile, to ensure maximum safety in viewing the right content.
  • Login to ShemarooMe and follow the instructions below to disable parental control:
  • Click on the Profile Icon and navigate the menu to select ‘Settings’
  • Under ‘Privacy Settings,’ you will find an option to disable ‘Parental Control’ by sliding the button.
  • However, we do recommend keeping parental control if your child accesses the app.
  • Login to ShemarooMe and follow the instructions below:
  • Click on the Profile Icon and navigate the menu to select ‘Settings’
  • Under “Privacy Settings”, you will find the option to Change the PIN
  • You will be requested to enter the old PIN, then enter the new 4-digit PIN.
  • Then confirm the new 4-digit PIN and continue watching ShemarooMe.
  • Login to ShemarooMe and follow the instructions below to retrieve your parental control PIN:
  • Click on any profile you wish to open
  • Enter any random 4-digit number and click on Continue,
  • Click on the “Forgot Pin?” tab and enter the email id on which you wish to receive your parental PIN.
  • Once you have received the email, copy the PIN.
  • Open the ShemarooMe App and click on the Profile Icon
  • Click on the profile that you wish to access and enter the PIN
  • To disable in-App notifications and follow the instructions below:
  • Log into ShemarooMe
  • Click on the Profile Icon and click on the ‘Settings’ tab
  • Click on the sliding button next to Notifications to enable or disable in-app notifications.

a. There are multiple payment options available depending on the platform (operating system) on which you purchase the subscription:

i. Android Phones and on the Web, there are multiple options available as follows:

  • UPI
  • Paytm
  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card
  • Amazon Pay
  • Mobikwik
  • Net Banking

ii. iOS:

  • To purchase a plan from the iOS platform, subscribers can do so through the Appstore.

iii. TV Platforms

  • Indian customers can buy ShemarooMe plans on Mi TV & Android TV.
  • Login to ShemarooMe
  • Go and click on the profile icon
  • Select a plan of your choice and pay via Paytm.

iv. US Customers:

  • US customers can buy subscription on ROKU platform via the Roku In-app purchase.
  • Login to the ShemarooMe App,
  • Click on the Profile Icon
  • Click on View Plans
  • Select desired plan & proceed to pay as per the payment options available

a. Outside India and the US region, there are two ways to purchase a subscription

b. Customers can subscribe on Android devices via Google Play

c. iOS customers can purchase a subscription through the App Store

a. Your plan will be auto renewed if you have purchased ShemarooMe via iTunes. However, you can cancel the auto-renewal of the subscription 24 hours before the renewal date.

a. We currently do not accept cash as a payment option for your ShemarooMe subscription.

a. Yes, you can change video quality by clicking on gear icon on the video player and choose the desired video quality, as per your network speed.

a. Just like any streaming experience, a stable internet connection is required to watch the content on ShemarooMe.

a. You can download the movies or any content for offline viewing on ShemarooMe. The title will be removed from your downloads after the viewing period expires. Please note that this option is not available on our web-based platform.

a. ShemarooMe charges a subscription fee, which is exclusive of all taxes. Some states in the U.S.A like New Jersey add a sales tax for transactions. The tax charged depends on the billing address of your debit or credit card.

  • Please follow the steps given below to check if your payment went through:
  • Close and relaunch the App
  • Click on the Profile Icon and click on the View Plans tab
  • Check if your subscription plan shows up under the Current Plans Option
  • If there is no subscription listed on the page, please send an email to our support team at support@shemaroome.com. with the following details:
  • Registered Mobile Number or Email id
  • A screenshot of the transaction as shown on your Bank / Payment Source Statement.
  • Our support team will check further with the details shared and inform you of the status of your complaint within 4 working hours
  • This should not happen ideally. But if it does, take the steps below:
  • Please restart the device you are viewing the content on.
  • Login to the ShemarooMe App
  • Click on the content that had a problem earlier.
  • If the issue still persists, write to us at support@shemaroome.com., mentioning the issue faced and share a video of the error or screenshots of the error message, if any.
  • Sometimes, if an App is not updated to the most recent version, it could exhibit this behavior. Take the following steps to try and resolve this issue:
  • For a good user experience, kindly update the app to the latest version.
  • Clear your app cache / data in the Settings section
  • Please restart the device you are viewing the content on.
  • Login to the ShemarooMe App
  • If the issue persists, write to us at support@shemaroome.com., mentioning the issue faced and share a video of the error or screenshots of the error message, if any.

a. Check if your Internet connection is working fine. If the internet is working fine and the content is still taking too long to load, write to us atsupport@shemaroome.com, mentioning the issue faced and share a video of the error or screenshots of the error message, if any.

a. If the app is consuming too much of your data, try changing your video quality settings. You can try changing the video quality by tapping the video and clicking the gear icon on the top right corner. That should bring up a list of video quality options to choose from! If it still does not help, send us an email at support@shemaroome.com about the problem.
