Synopsis

"Soldier Deepak returns from war. He gets enraged on knowing of the removal of his mother and sister from their ancestral property by his cruel uncle, Thakur. Deepak’s heart is fuelled with vengeance on witnessing his mother and sister staying in a hut. Deepak decides to ask his uncle the reason for his atrocious behaviour. For settlement of arguments between Deepak and his uncle, the tiff between them is moved to local panchayat. The discussions end with an enraged Deepak threatening his uncle with death if his ancestral property is not returned. The very next day villagers find the dead body of Thakur. Deepak is held responsible for the cold-blooded murder. Court sentences Deepak on account of the statement given by false witness. Was Deepak the culprit?
