A city-bred man Anoop is learning to become a lawyer. On his mother's insistence, he meets a girl for marriage and falls in love with an innocent girl named Minoo. After marriage he realises that Minoo is childish and irresponsible and has no interest in household work. Exasperated with her immature behaviour over time, he sends her back to her mother's house, where Minoo realises that she truly loves and misses her husband. She no longer finds joy in acting like a kid. So she reforms herself and returns to her in-laws' house in the village, only to realise that Anoop is deeply hurt and has returned to the city.
