Poonam an orphan stays with her uncle, aunt and cousin, her aunt doesn't like her as her own daughter is dark skinned and Poonam is fair skinned. She also thinks her husband is extra affectionate towards Poonam. Poonam gets engaged to Prem who is well educated and also from a wealhy family. Just 2 days before the wedding Poonam faces severe burns as their house cathes fire. Will Prem still marry Poonam or will he leave her in such a situation?
