Avtaar

Avataar Krishen (Rajesh Khanna) slogs to feed and educate his two sons, who, after getting married to daughters of a rich businessman, abandon their parents. Avataar and his wife Radha (Shabana Azmi) leave home and with the help of their loyal servant, get back on their feet and Avataar builds himself a successful business, which he then uses to teach his churlish and unappreciative sons a lesson. The grown sons eventually yield and seek forgiveness. Their mother is willing to mend the bridges, but will a self-respecting man like Avtaar forgive and forget?
