Synopsis

The episode begins with tension when Vivek and his parents unexpectedly arrive at the Dave household, having been secretly invited by Shivani to make amends. However, a furious Sunita refuses to forgive the family's past hypocrisy and throws them out, vehemently rejecting the match. The family's domestic squabble is abruptly interrupted when a demolition crew and a police inspector arrive with a court order, threatening to immediately tear down the ancestral homes of both the Daves and their neighbours. While Akash and Shivani visit a lawyer to plan an emergency stay order against the fraudulent builder, their parents meet and decide to arrange a marriage between the two young neighbours. Akash enthusiastically breaks the news to Shivani, who is completely blindsided and frustrated by his presumptions—highlighted by the fact that he does not even know she prefers coffee over tea. Feeling cornered by her family's mounting pressure to marry Akash, Shivani secretly meets Vivek at a cafe. Fearing their respective parents will use emotional blackmail to keep them apart and force them into other matches, Vivek proposes they bypass the traditional arranged marriage route and secretly elope with a court marriage. He confesses his love for her, and a smiling Shivani takes his hand, silently agreeing to the rebellious plan.
