An honest and diligent Police Inspector, Samar Pratap Singh (Manoj Bajpayee) is transferred to Motihari along with his wife and daughter. But this small town of Bihar is swarming with corruption and moral decay, with law in the clutches of an atrocious politician. But the sorry state of the town and the open threats do not deter Samar in his quest to eradicate crime in Motihari. But Samar pays a heavy price for his noble pursuit. Will justice be served ultimately?
