Dhruv investigates further on his hunch and discovers that Anushka indeed had 2 mobile phones and that there were calls were exchanged only from one number and who it belonged to. Police in desperation also take in Dhananjay for questioning but nothing is found and had to let him go. Dhruv continues his investigation and he finds all the proof. The main proof was of the video which was shot by Govind, the gardener. In the end poetic justice prevails and the culprit meets with his fate. The DNA test results reveal the father of Anushka's unborn child.

Dhruv confesses that he had gone to meet Anushka on the night of her death at her home but since there was no light at the house, he went to the farmhouse and saw Anushka talking to someone near the swimming pool. This contradicts with the call data records the police have of Anushka's phone. The forensic guy hits upon the exact time of death of Anushka through his investigation. Neither of the three - Raman, Shernaaz or Dhruv were present at that spot at the time of Anushka's death. They are granted bail. Dhruv's surfing of Anushka's instagram photos, makes him realise that Anushka may have 2 mobile phones.

The gardener tries to meet Nirbhay TV editor but flees the scene after seeing Ramla, Raman Sukha's henchman. The police do not believe what Shernaaz and Raman Sukha say in their joint investiagtion. The duo challenges the police to pin point the precise time of Anushka's death which will lead them to nab the real culprit. The dead body of the gardener of Red Apple farmhouse is discovered near the farmhouse.

Digital footprint reveals that Raman Sukha and Dhruv Shroof were in close proximity to the crime scene at the time of crime. Three sets of finger prints were detected at the crime scene. Shernaz Shroff and Raman Sukha face off in the joint investigation. Police prepare Dhruv psychologically towards the paternity test. Red Apple farmhouse gardener comes up with a mysterious proposal to Dhananjay Shroff

Both Nirbhay TV and Red Apple TV broadcast enagage in their own TV rivalry exposing differing perceptions. Nirbhay TV digs into Dhruv's history to reveal that he was in love with Anushka. Raman Sukha and Dhruv Shroff arrested for custodial interrogation. Both have nail scratches on their body. Bawaskar orders paternity test on both of them.

In order to save Dhruv Shroff, Dhananjay Shroff removes the hard disk of the CCTV camera from Shroff House residence. Dhananjay Shroff reveals the tape of the teenage girl's murder in Red Apple channel's breaking news which was shot by Anushka. Raman Sukha is being questioned by the police and he denies having gone to the farm house, DCP Bawaskar confronts him with a drunk witness who claims to have seen Raman Sukha near the farm house. Post mortem report reveals that Anushka was pregnant at the time of her death

Anushka shows the camera memory card to Dhananjay at Shroff's party at night. She is being chased thereafter and manages to reach the Red Apple farmhouse. Disturbed by the teenage girl's death, she enters the pool to regain her composure and mysteriously dies of electrocution in the pool. DCP Bawaskar takes charge of the case amidst media hue and cry and discovers the last dialled call made by Anushka

Anushka Seshadri, a journalist, is found dead in swimming pool in mysterious circumstances. Previous day, she attended an award ceremony wherein her boss Dhananjay Shroff was awared the best anchor award of the year. On the way back to office on her scooty, she sees a girl being kidnapped and she chases to investigate the same and is witness to the girl's death. She records the same in her camera.
