Good and bad, lucky and unlucky, auspicious and the inauspicious are invariably two sides of the same coin. There is no cure for superstitions and blind faith. Mihir's superstitious mother is a staunch believer of rituals and omens. On the contrary, his father was a man with rational thinking. His relative Kamini is hell-bent on creating havoc in his family for some reason. She plants a seed of doubt in Mihir's mother's mind that the misfortunes of the family are due to the bad influences of Damini - their would-be daughter-in-law. The family somehow overcomes everything over a period of time, but Mihir gets perplexed whether he should marry Damini or not.
