Revered police officers Karan (Sunny Deol) and Ali (Chunky Pandey) investigate the murder of their colleague. Karan is thrust with the responsibility to protect a nightclub singer named Anjali (Juhi Chawla), a daring eyewitness to the crime who is unafraid to testify against the criminal. With her life under threat, Karan hides her away in some wilderness and during the escapade, falls hopelessly in love with her. But fate separates the couple and Karan vows to end his plight once and for all.
