Gauri (Rajshri Deshpande) is a young daughter of a poor farmer living in a small village on the foothills of Himalayas. Her father owes some money to the local landlord, but with hardly any income, he is forced to give up his land as collateral. Gauri tries to find a way out of this problem. She falls in love with Rohit (Brajesh Tiwari), a tourist who lures her with a job offer in Mumbai. Dreaming of a better life for her family, Gauri leaves for the city. But when Rohit deceives her, she is left alone to fend for herself. Mumbai takes her on a difficult journey through the hard realities of life. Enduring physical and mental abuse, she regrets her poor life decision. Will she stay back and fight her circumstances or escape her nightmarish life and go back to her hometown?
