This is a romantic movie about a fun-loving girl staying in a hostel. Seema (Meena Kumari) pretends to be on a date. At the risk of getting caught, she takes the help of a charming stranger (Rajendra Kumar), convincing him to pretend to be with her. As the pair jumps through countless hoops to keep up their facade, their fake relationship paves way to some real feelings and they find themselves falling in love with each other. But things get complicated when Seema learns the true identity of the stranger she’d befriended.
