Amba

Prabha marries a debauched Rajendra and moves in with him. After visiting a local courtesan one night, Rajendra returns home intoxicated and sexually molests and then kills Geeta, who happens to be their loyal servant's daughter. When Rajendra's mother Amba finds this out, she has him arrested. Rajendra is tried in court, found guilty after Amba's testimony, and eventually hanged for the crime. A devastated and humiliated Prabha swears to avenge his death and leaves to live with her equally vengeful father and brother. Together, they plot to turn Amba's life upside down.
