When the owner of a tea estate dies under mysterious circumstances, a series of bizarre events follow, like a human corpse turning into the body of a bear. With the local police mystified, a family friend of the estate owner named Prakash (Mithun Chakraborty) arrives in the village to find out what really happened. He claims to be the son of a Lucknow-based tehsildar. But he gets further drawn into the mystery as he follows a shadowy figure into the jungle and towards an abandoned haunted house.
