Back from the US, NRI Neha Malini heads to a remote village in Bihar to build a school for children. She is optimistic about her endeavour and meets three boys willing to study, blissfully unaware of the real condition of the village that is filled with hardened criminals, gun-wielding kids, and dangerous local politics. Neha's meeting with Janaki, the mother of one of the boys, helps her to understand the deep-rooted political and criminal nexus that saturates the system and she resolves to free them from the world of crime. But her decision catapults her into a series of difficult and dangerous situations.
