Champak Chaturvedi (Paresh Rawal), the promoter of a theatre group, is offered the chance to stage a show in London. Bunty (Akshay Kumar) and Babla (Govinda), are two wannabes actors and skirt chasers in the same theatre group. The two are always at loggerheads with each other, vying for the lead role. Their behaviour causes the heroine of the play to run away. This upsets the organizer, who was offered the chance to perform in London only because of the heroine. Champak tells the duo that whoever gets a new actress for the play, will get the chance to play the hero. Bunty and Babla take this as a challenge and set out to find a heroine for the show. But this leads them into messy and hilarious situations.
