Dharam and his younger brother, Govinda, lead a peaceful and happy life in their village. Dharam gets married to Pavitra, and Govinda falls in love with Gita. Soon after marriage, differences start cropping up, and the two brothers get separated. Dharam gets manipulated by their nemesis Dhaneshwar into believing that Govinda is having physical relations with Pavitra, causing Govinda to leave the house. In the absence of Govinda, Dharam gets murdered, and Pavitra becomes the victim of Dhaneshwar's lust. Will the family ever reunite and live peacefully?
