Navrang

A talented folk poet Navrang writes about Mohini, a figment of his active imagination who strongly resembles his beautiful wife Jamuna. His talent earns him a well-paying job at a court but when his poetry turns patriotic, it doesn't sit well with the British and he loses his job. His situation worsens when his father falls sick and his wife is upset because of his unabating obsession with his muse Mohini. Navrang must decide whether to conform his writing to please everyone or pursue his talent relentlessly, even at the cost of losing it all.
