Sanam Bewafa

Rukhsar (Chandni) and Salman (Salman Khan) belong to two rival families who've been at each other's throat for generations. But when the kids fall in love, the family makes amends. Salman's father, Sherkhan (Danny Denzongpa) is especially happy with the fact that his son is in love with his worst enemy's daughter. But during the wedding, Rukhsar's father, Fateh Khan (Pran), demands an extravagant haq mehr, which is a mandatory payment made by the groom's family to the bride. This angers Sherkhan. After paying off the mehr, he (Sherkhan) throws Rukhsar out of his house the next morning. Will their personal rivalry ever let the two young hearts live in peace?
