A poor man Ramu works honestly towards providing a better life for his family. In the process, he meets his childhood friend Kalu, a hardened criminal who shows him ways to make easy money. Initially resisting the idea, Ramu second-guesses his life's choices when his sister meets with an accident and dies because Ramu doesn't have enough money for her treatment. Bogged down by a financial crisis and guilt, Ramu joins Kalu but soon, he is forced to go underground and has to suffer the consequences of the murder that Kalu has committed.
