<p>Maharashtra&nbsp;Chief Minister Uddhav&nbsp;Thackeray in a video interview to his party Shiv&nbsp;Senas mouthpiece&nbsp;Saamna has said that he is not Donald Trump, he cannot see his people suffering in front of his eyes.&nbsp;The chief ministers comment was in response to a question by&nbsp;the mouthpieces executive editor and party MP Sanjay&nbsp;Raut&nbsp;regarding relaxations of the strict restrictions in the state.</p> <p>Shiv Sena&nbsp;chief&nbsp;Uddhav has been extremely cautious in easing the curbs, a stark contrast to US President Donald Trump who is opposed to tougher restrictions and initially&nbsp;even downplayed the pandemic.&nbsp;Maharashtra&nbsp;is the worst affected state in India with over 3.27&nbsp;lakh&nbsp;confirmed cases, out&nbsp;of which 1.32 lakh&nbsp;cases are active.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Thackerays entire interview is expected to be released on the weekend.&nbsp;</p>
