Synopsis

The pressure on Shivani reaches a boiling point when Akash’s parents formalize their intention to arrange an engagement next month. Unwilling to accept the match, Shivani confides in Akash that she plans to elope with Vivek via a secret court marriage. Masking his own heartbreak, Akash agrees to help her escape on the morning of the wedding. Vivek swiftly arranges the legal proceedings, and Shivani emotionally bids her oblivious family a cryptic farewell. However, after Akash drops her off at the courthouse, Shivani is overwhelmed by memories of her family's sacrifices and love. Standing on the steps, she tearfully tells Vivek she cannot build her happiness on her parents' pain or use marriage as an escape from her chaotic life. She calls off the wedding entirely, declaring she needs time alone to discover who she truly is. Back at the Dave household, Akash successfully secures the legal stay order to save the family home from demolition. When a misunderstanding leads him to accidentally confess Shivani's elopement plan, Vasantlal reveals the surprising truth: Shivani did not get married, but instead accepted a year-long bank training program in Ahmedabad. Overjoyed that she is still single, Akash immediately decides to return to Ahmedabad to be near her. Meanwhile, as Shivani waits for her bus to begin her independent new life, she unexpectedly reconnects with an old schoolmate who also lives in Ahmedabad, leaving her romantic future wide open.
