Synopsis

The Dave family endures another exhausting arranged marriage meeting, this time waiting an hour for the arrival of Mukesh, a hyper-energetic, fast-talking aspiring entrepreneur. Unbeknownst to the family, Mukesh was delayed because he was unsuccessfully pitching "Mukka Baam"—his self-developed, highly acidic, pain-inducing headache remedy—to an unwilling investor in his car. When Mukesh finally arrives at the house, he immediately treats the marriage arrangement like a business transaction, referring to both himself and Shivani as "products". During their private conversation on the terrace, Shivani discovers that despite his bravado and wealthy background, Mukesh is essentially unemployed, relying on his family's wealth while endlessly launching bizarre, unsuccessful startups. Recognizing they are incompatible, Shivani gently rejects his proposal but kindly offers to help him with a business loan at her bank. The light-hearted rejection stands in stark contrast to the growing crisis at home. Vasantlal finally reveals the legal eviction notice to a shocked Sunita, explaining that a man named Nanji claims their fathers signed away the property before they died. To protect Shivani from the looming crisis, Vasantlal instructs the matchmaker to pivot to NRI suitors so Shivani can secure a future far from the family's impending ruin. That night, the stress culminates when Vasantlal and Sunita hear a noise outside and, mistaking him for a burglar, Sunita strikes a man attempting to open their neighbor's door.
