Synopsis

Anil Kapoor was the most promising actor amongst the new breed of actors who entered the scene in 1980s. He approached his roles differently than his contemporaries; would get into the skin of his characters; introspect and then perform in front of the camera. And the results were there for everyone to see. His sincere performance in ‘Woh 7 Din’ won him accolades and several roles including Yash Chopra’s ‘Mashaal’ with Dilip Kumar. With 4 successful films in 1985, Anil Kapoor was at the top of his game. He cemented his status further in the late-80s with hits like ‘Mr. India’, ‘Tezaab’, ‘Ram Lakhan’, ‘Eeshwar’and ‘Parinda’. His box-office position was unaffected in the 1990s despite stiff competition with Aamir, Salman, Shahrukh, Ajay, Akshay and Govinda. And he welcomed the new millennium with roles that were tailor-made for him and his quest to hone his acting skills continue till date. SCREEN LEGENDS Anil Kapoor Part 2 celebrates the ever youthful, healthy and fit actor who has managed to stay away from the rumour mills and is perceived as a perfect family man – a doting husband and a loving father to 3 children, all of whom have followed his footsteps in the world of films.
