Synopsis

The initial journey of the bubbly, vivacious and adorable teenager Neetu Singh was covered in Screen Legends Neetu Singh Part 1. We saw how she began to be paired with Rishi Kapoor after Dimple Kapadia’s sudden marriage. And the chemistry of Rishi-Neetu on screen had to be seen to be believed as they went on giving one hit after another! Neetu Singh also formed a hit pair with her brother-in-law Randhir Kapoor, her uncle-in-law Shashi Kapoor, ‘Jumping Jack’ Jeetendra, ‘Shotgun’ Shatrughan Sinha, dashing Vinod Khanna and the ‘Big B’ Amitabh Bachchan. Neetu was a natural scene-stealer even when pitted against these veteran actors. It was natural for Neetu and Rishi to fall in love after having done 10 films together. They got engaged in 1979 and finally got married in January 1980. Neetu was only 21 when she got married and quit films. soon. She made a comeback with a few films opposite Rishi almost after 3 decades and was a pillar of strength during Rishi’s illness in 2018 and his untimely death in 2020.
