Synopsis

Movies and their music have always been an integral part of our lives, especially those made in the 1950s and 60s right through the 1990s. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that films are in our DNA. And when this love for films is soaked in ‘Nostalgia’, one’s joy knows no bounds. GOLDEN CLASSICS is a new series specially created to re-visit our rich Bollywood legacy and re-live a film and its music that created history at the box-office. Researched by Rajiv Vijayakar and narrated by RJ Ruchi in her inimitable style, each episode of ‘Golden Classics’ will throw light on various aspects of a Classic film. The viewers will also be treated with the audio-visuals of each and every song besides the interesting dialogue clips. The Series begins with director Raj Khosla’s DO RAASTE (1969) which was a blockbuster family drama featuring Balraj Sahni, Rajesh Khanna, Mumtaz, Bindu and Prem Chopra.
